CivicPoint Sourcing privacy policy
This policy explains how CivicPoint Sourcing handles information that business visitors submit through the website. It is a sourcing-desk notice. It is not a privacy policy of any brand named in a search.
Information you choose to send
The inquiry form asks for a name, a work email, and a project description. Phone and company are optional. The description may include building use, dimensions, a project location, design criteria, quantity, destination, timing and scope. An optional budget and a supplier preference may be added by the browser to that same description when the form is submitted. Those extra notes are not separate database fields on this site.
If you leave a blog comment, the comment form collects the name, email and comment you type. Do not put account passwords or payment card numbers in either form. The desk does not request them.
Why the information is used
Project details are used to understand the request, to ask a clarifying question, and to invite alternative factories to quote a comparable scope. Contact details are used to send that correspondence. CivicPoint Sourcing does not sell the form contents as a marketing list. Supplier preference is stored only as the buyer’s wording inside the request. It is not treated as a score the desk has verified.
Who may see a brief
A usable brief may be shared with factories or coordinators who are asked to price that brief. Share only information you are allowed to pass on. Drawings and site addresses can identify a project. If a detail must stay private, leave it out and say that it will be released after a supplier is shortlisted.
How long notes are kept
Inquiry correspondence is kept while the request is open and for a limited period afterward so the desk can answer a follow-up about the same brief. The exact retention follows the operational need of that request and any record the buyer or a supplier is required to keep. This page does not publish a universal destruction date, because the desk does not claim a single archive system beyond the correspondence itself.
Cookies and local storage
The sourcing notice at the top of the page may store the time it was first shown in local storage, and it remembers closed popups and tickers in session storage for that browser session. The first-shown time limits display to seven days. Those values are used only to respect the display window and the close action. They are not a profile of your project. Closing the ticker does not reset the first-shown time.
Requests about your information
To ask what was submitted, or to ask the desk to stop using a brief, use the contact form and include the email address you used on the inquiry. CivicPoint Sourcing will respond through that thread. The site does not offer a separate postal address for privacy mail. If a factory has already received the brief, that factory’s own handling is outside this page and should be raised with that factory.
Children
The site is aimed at business purchasing. It is not directed to children, and the forms should not be used to send information about a child.
